TRAINED IN THE SCHOOL OF LIFE

I’ve been an artist since I was a kid. Always creating and seeking to understand. I grew up struggling. Poverty, mental illness and growing up with an addict for a father created chaos in my life as far back as I can remember. Art, music and creativity are how I processed. It’s how I made sense of things. It’s how I learned to say the unspeakable. Express the things that words fail to articulate. I learned how to communicate without speaking through creativity, through music, through drawing and painting. I discovered my ability to translate emotions into sound and color and I’ve been working as a producer and songwriter, using the skill-set I developed throughout my life to help artists find their voice.

Music is how I process, how I speak when I don’t have words. The creative act is my home, the place where my soul is at rest. It’s my native tongue. I’ve learned to find my voice here and I’ve found that, by going there myself, I can help others find theirs as well.
