It’s time for a fresh baptism into the good news.

God, I want your thoughts this morning.
“Take it in, Matt. Don’t stretch your thoughts so far into the future that you trip over the blessing I have right here in Sisters, Oregon, right now at 8:33am. Here and now is where the blessing is and I will carry you into whatever future lies ahead.
I too want your family to experience the vibrance, that’s why I’ve pulled aside the head of their household to prepare all of you to be able to sustain that level of goodness. I want to expand your goodness tolerance. To give you capacity to bear the kind of fruit you want.
You’ve got to be good at receiving the good without self-sabotage. I brought you to these high hills of my goodness to remind you of what’s possible when we walk and work together, to remind you of what happens when you dare to dream with me.
I want you to let go of all the orphan culture you’ve taken on over your life, to surrender it to me and leave it in the grave where it belongs. Leave it in the watery grave of a fresh baptism of sonship and dream with me again.
Self-sabotage is working directly against my will for your life. I want so much vibrance for you. So much goodness. It’s time for a fresh baptism into the newness, the extravagant goodness of the real good news.
I want you to not only be a preacher of the good news but a demonstrator of that good news. To be one fully surrendered to allowing me to to be as good to you and your family as I want to be.
Trust me.
Believe that I want to be good to you. Believe that you can feast at this table that I’ve set before you and eat like the king you are. I want your life to glisten with my goodness and mercy. I want you glowing with joy and favor. I want you to exude the peace that passes understanding and release the fragrance of Christ any and everywhere I call you.
I want you flowing like the river of crystal clear water that flows through Wychuse Creek.
Surrender to my goodness.
Trust that I am with you and breathe in the un-depletable favor I offer you on every waking moment. Focus on receiving the good.
Be here.
I want to do all this with you and through you.
Trust in my kindness, my goodness, my favor like a tree planted on the banks of a river. Drink deep. Trust me.
I will cause you to be fruitful in every season.
Jeremiah 17:7-8.
When you choose the way of trust, you are choosing to be that tree planted by the river, rooted next to the river of life.
When you come to me, you will never hunger. When you trust in me, you will never thirst. (John 6:35-36)”
